Dr. Bonoan investigated how honey bees might supplement their floral diet with minerals from “dirty water\,” and what this means for honey bee nutrition throughout the year. She will answer “Why do honey bees like dirty water?”\, share some tips on giving your bees a safe “dirty” water source\, and briefly discuss her research at Providence College.
